Implement One Clinical Decision Support Rule
Clinical decision support is broadly defined as information, prompts, reminders or alerts intended to help support decisions in clinical care. For Meaningful Use, the definition is focused on alerts or reminders pertinent to the eligible professional’s (EP) specialty or of high clinical importance. This core objective is implementing clinical decision support; the measure is intended to show that you have implemented at least one clinical decision support rule. The purpose is for you to demonstrate you have the capability to implement an advanced function, and is intended to pave the way for more rules in the future.
