OSHA Deadline Approaching

The deadline to complete your 2019 electronic reporting OSHA form is fast approaching. The forms that you should submit include forms 300 and 301. These are logs that have to do with work-related injuries and illnesses. Obtaining records is important through constant inspections and enforcement actions. Additionally, this rule eliminates the requirement of companies with 250 or more employees to submit their OSHA information electronically. The rule became effective on February 25, 2019.

To protect the health and safety of American workers, it is important that accurate and transparent reporting is taking place. Information that is under OSHA will not be able to link personally identifiable information or data to you. Furthermore, this rule can help improve enforcement targeting within working environments. The rule also requires employers to submit their EN to OSHA electronically. The rule was published on January 25, 2019.

Finally, Under the Heal and Safety Act of 1970, it is the employer’s job to maintain a safe and working environment for its employees. OSHA accomplishes this by enforcing standards, providing proper employee training, education and assistance. This is for the safety of all employees and patients to reduce risks.
