ADA Certification and Continuing Education Recognition Program
Who is the American Dental Association (ADA)?
With over 161,000 members, the ADA provides support for their members to make their patients a priority in promoting better oral health. The ADA holds some of the highest standards in the industry.
American Dental Association Continuing Education Recognition Program (ADA CERP)
The American Dental Association Continuing Education Recognition Program was established in 1993. The ADA CERP provides ADA members and providers, like AMC and the dental community, a mechanism to select quality continuing dental education (CE) with confidence and promotes the continuous improvement of continuing dental education both nationally and globally. ADA CERP also provides dental regulatory agencies with a sound basis for uniform acceptance of CE credits which are mandated by licensing jurisdictions in the United States for maintenance of dental licensure
Why is this important?
Members of the dental community can continue their learning through American Medical Compliance; an ADA CERP recognized provider.
AMC is certified to assist all dental practices with continued education and certification requirements for dental physicians and employees.
American Medical Compliance is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider.
ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to help dental professionals identify quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by dentistry boards.
American Medical Compliance designates this activity for (number of credit hours for training courses) equal to 1 hour in length or a combination of courses to satisfy the requirement for 1 hour in length to equal 1 continuing education credit.
